How to Choose a Sheet Set: Size, Pocket Depth and Fabric

Most sheet problems come down to one thing: the fitted sheet does not fit the mattress. Here is how to avoid that, in three quick steps.

1. Measure your mattress depth

Measure from the bottom edge of the mattress to the top. If you use a topper or a mattress pad, measure with it on. Then choose a fitted sheet with pockets at least that deep. Our Queen sheet set and King sheet set have deep pockets for mattresses up to 16 inches.

2. Pick the right size

Match the sheet size to the mattress size: Twin, Full, Queen, King or Cal King. A sheet that is one size too small will pop off the corners all night.

3. Choose a fabric you will enjoy

Brushed microfiber is soft, smooth and easy to care for, and it resists wrinkles. It is a good everyday choice when you want soft sheets without fuss. Wash it on a gentle cycle and tumble dry low.
